Note book containing brief notes on sermons attended by George Osgood. Notes include date, location, speaker, citations to biblical chapters, subject, hymns sung, and biblical excerpts. Locations of sermons were chiefly Cambridge, Massachusetts, Cohasset, Massachusetts, and Kensington, New Hampshire. Frequent speakers are Mr. Francis G. Peabody in Cambridge, and Mr. F.D. Chandler in Kensington, and Mr. H.W. Foote in Cohasset.

Francis Greenwood Peabody (1847-1936) graduated from Harvard College in 1869 and Harvard Divinity School in 1872. Ordained in 1874, Peabody served the First Parish (Unitarian) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, until 1879.
